Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Amazing food, if you love fish, get the steamed fish with ginger and scallions, I am a tru foodie, this is amazing! I could not believe how fresh and great the food is here, not typical Chinese food, they are way above the rest!

Fantastic Chinese delivery!!! Great food at a great price. The delivery was also very fast. Thanks, we now have a new Chinese delivery option. We had the beef and broccoli along with an order of General Tso chicken. Both were excellent!! What a surprise!!

The reason they don't have employees is they only pay u $4 per hour for 2 wks training then say $8 per hour plus tips .. tips are split with all the staff that work that day... then the week u go full time they say oh we have compliant sorry it no work out... what.. no its shaddy managers who want free labor....

Their food is just the typical Chinese takeout you taste anywhere else, not authentic. I just order from them because they deliver (& not for free). I actually ordered a Kung Pao chicken & Hunan chicken the other day and they gave me the exact same thing! Except they added peanuts to the Kung Pao. The dinner combo size is the same as lunch special. The egg rolls are decent. Soup is tasteless. Scared to try another Chinese takeout because it can be a waste of money, so I stick with them. Update; I just tried East China Kitchen close by and it was so much better! I'm mad I didn't try sooner, since I order delivery once a week.

Decent Chinese food on a budget. Nice decent size portions. This is 5th time coming here and 5 in a row food was hot and portioning was consistent. For $15 or less 2 can eat well. Really hungry for $20 plus tips 2 can eat really well.

Just went here for lunch. Was very warm in the dining room. Portions were generous. Prices were very fair. But our food was not so good. Still tasting it!
(2)Sean R.
This place could use some help. As in, an actual server! My food was over cooked and dry, the boneless spare rib appetizer was undercooked and chewy. But as a good note, the Orange Chicken was damn good! Still in search of good Chinese food!!!

I have ordered from crazy wok alot and it usually is really good but i have to say that tonight it tasted like old oil. The egg drop soup tasted like old vegetable oil and the crispy wings were fried in old oil. Ill never order here again.
(1)Amy M.
We always get take out from Crazy Wok and we love their food. We get the chicken fried rice and ma po tofu all the time. If you want something made spicy, just ask and they will add more spice. The dining room is small and casual with nice decor. Go and try it.

Delicious food, want to type more but too busy eating... Just go
(5)Maurice C.
I got the pu pu platter via delivery. Only complaint I have is that the amount of food they give you is lower than average, and that it doesn't include crab rangoon. But other than that, the food tasted good, and it was delivered on time and hot. The egg rolls are especially good, perhaps the best I've ever had. I'm not usually a big fan of egg rolls, but theirs are very good.

Amazing food... Fast delivery and very nice delivery driver. Portions are fantastic... Reasonable pricing and super fresh food. Will definitely order again. Highly recommended
(5)Nate H.
Ok place for Chinese take out. They have all the regular dishes you would expect, plus brown rice as an option, which is always a plus. There is a quaint dining room also, but I was there after lunchtime, so there was only a couple customers dining in. The service is friendly. I'll be back!

Grandma at Holy Cross hospital was sick of the sad sandwiches and craving Chinese, so I Yelped and found this place. I have learned to be deeply cynical of Chinese restaurants in strip malls, so when she opened her container, sampled the hot and sour soup and said "this is actually quite good", I knew we'd found a winner. The food is good - not too heavy or saucy, and very flavorful. The beef chunks in the Steak Kiew entree were humungous, and medium rare! Dining room didn't look particularly special but this place is now top of the take out rotation for when we're in town.

I love this place. Every Time we get take out the food is always hot and fresh which is a huge plus. They will deliver right on time, we never waited more than estimated time and the fact that the receptionist on the phone speaks clearly and you can understand her and don't have to repeat a thousand times is priceless !!! And if you don't feel like speaking to anyone you can always order online !!!

I wish I could give it 2.5 stars but you can only do whole numbers. Granted, I played it safe by ordering shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon, but I feel like it's hard to mess those up. I ordered for delivery and the total was around $16! They charge $3 for delivery. You get 8 crab Rangoon but they are SO tiny! The flavor is good but too small in my opinion. The fried rice had a charred taste, but I was pleasantly surprised to find sprouts in the rice! Love those! Unfortunately I was only give 4 shrimp in the small order...BOO! The delivery was fast which was nice bc I was so hungry and putting my 4-month old to sleep. If I order again, I'll try orange chicken or something that may be a house special.

My girlfriend and I were on vacation and we wanted some Chinese food down in Fort Lauderdale. After seeing so many bad reviews at other places, I was about to give up before I found a review for Crazy Wok. It had plenty enough good stars to try out the place and I wasn't disappointed. The place is small (inside a strip mall) but the food was delicious and plentiful. I ate inside so I can't comment on take-out but with our meal, we were served soup and appetizer then the meal. Everything was pippin hot and tasted as if it were just made. Nothing sitting out that they had to reheat up. Some people may think the food is overcooked but I actually like it that way so to each his own.

Crazy Wok is by far, the best Chinese place I've ever had. I'm not a huge Chinese food fan but my husband is and he wanted to order from here one evening. I was pleasantly surprised that they had chicken potstickers on their menu as usually other places only have pork and vegetable. We have tried the Bourbon Chicken and Honey Garlic Chicken as well as the Chicken Potstickers ( both pan fried and steamed) with Pork Fried Rice. Delicious! The staff are nice and I recommend this place to anyone!
(5)Margorie G.
One of the better take out/delivery Chinese restaurants, I was pleasantly surprisesd. You must get their garlic chicken wings I had them make it a little spicy and they were delicious!! My bf loved the bbq spare ribs. We got the house special fried rice and it was very good. The only bad thing I have to say is that their wonton soup was way too salty. This restaurant is now on my speed dial to Chinese take out
(4)Bernardo A.
Crazy Wok's food is freshly prepared. The staff is super friendly. The place is very small and there's rarely anyone there...because takeout and delivery is mostly what they do. The prices are great, too. Favorites? Singapore noodles Boneless pork ribs (sauce on the side) Chicken and broccoli Pretty much anything I've ever had there is good.
(4)Emily B.
Best Chinese food in the area. If you dine in, their restaurant is so clean and not your typical weird Chinese restaurant; they have a few TV's and modern decor. Their coke zero fountain drink is the best! They have the best egg rolls in South Florida, and everything from them has always been above average. It's our "go to" Chinese take out or delivery.
(5)Andrea M.
Wow! I never order meat dishes from Chinese delivery because I am so meat picky - but my husband got the Sesame chicken and I was so impressed with their quality!! All white meat that every bite sincerely looked like it was fit for a commercial. I got the Vegetable Mei Fun and it was delicious as well. Overall, everything was of great quality and was very clean and light tasting for Chinese food - not too greasy or heavy. This is our new go-to spot for delivery.
(5)Nicole K.
Things have changed. We go once a week and everything is perfect. They hired very competent works and it can't get any better. Love this place. I hope it stays perfect.

I miss philly's chinatown. We used to love getting 3am chinese food after the bars closed or amazing delivery at 11am on sundays. There is nothing like that around here. Actually if anyone could tell me where I can get chinese after I leave work at 11pm I would kindly kiss their feet. So anyway, its new years day, I'm hung over, I need some fried rice in my life, and I look on yelp for a good place that delivers. This place has 4 starts on yelp and I call them up and place my order, they said 45 to 55 minutes and I go back to my trashy tv and wait for it to arrive. To my great surprise, they were here with the food in 25 minutes and oh man did I get a feast. It was $32 and we had food for dayssssss. Here's the problem, it wasn't that great. Don't get me wrong, I will definitely order it again but the food was very... sterile. Spicy was not that spicy, and there was no mystery meat in the rice, the chicken was all pristine white in color and they put baby corn in everything. I hate baby corn.

Good looking, small interior for dining in - although this is really a takeout joint. We ordered food enough for a family of 5, and the young cashier (high school student) almost gave us one bag and not the other; she just didn't check to make sure the order was complete. My advice: be careful and double check to make sure you have everything. As for the food, it was above average, and I'd order from there again occasionally. Mu shu chicken was excellent; house special wonton soup was incredible. Other dishes tasty but average. For takeout, give it a try... Minor complaint: the soda fountain was out of ice. Really? Not cool.

Finally found a great Chinese takeout place!! I've tried several places in the area and found them to be just Ok, but I saw the reviews on yelp one day and decided to take a shot. I have found a takeout place for life! Portions are big, food is good, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. We ordered enough food to feed a small army and were pleasantly surprised at the bill. Quick and friendly service. Good location on Federal Highway in the Dick's shopping center.
(5)Liz S.
This restaurant was very average I will never return. My chicken curry had a sauce that tasted Thin and the vegetables seemed like they were thrown in frozen the chicken tasted too salty and my brown rice came out white had to send it back
(1)H H.
LOVE It! We're new to the are and it's absolutely the most tasty chinese place in town!!!
(5)Lance G.
Small comfortable place. Fair service. Soups were awesome. Szechuan dumplings tasted like ketchup though. The beef chow fun was really good. The general tsos chicken was on the high side of mediocre.
(3)Nicole C.
Horrible customer service and they were extremely rude !! I Will NEVER ORDER From this place !!! They took my order and address and then they said No to delivery because they just did not want to send their driver .. This happen 3 times!! State it from beginning that you don't deliver 5 blocks away !!

This place out the back was a little hard to find from where I came from but this place is definitely worth it. The food came out in a timely manner, very presentable, and all together delicious. One thing I didn't like was that the "Krab Rangoon" was full of garlic and onions. It wasn't cooked to my nor my girlfriends liking but nonetheless I was very impressed with this meal. I ordered "General Tsao's Chicken" with white rice. My girlfriend ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and her mother ordered Cashew Chicken with fried rice also. I could tell they were enjoying the meal because there was no conversation only the sound of us enjoying our meal. Also I wish I could have gotten a knife also but other than that a great place to eat. Very friendly staff also.
(4)Michael V.
I walked in this restaurant because of the reviews. I was ignored by the staff for a while before I finally got the attention of someone that seemed bothered that I wanted to order. After I ordered a simple bowl of won ton soup I waited over 20 minutes before I left with no soup or apology from the staff for the delay. I don't know what the food is like but I would run fast from here due to its poor customer attention.

first let me start by saying if you're from the Northeast you're probably not going to like Chinese food in Florida. It's well, different, I don't know why I've been told it's the water (same reason you don't find good bread down here). That said, it is what it is... and down here this is one of the better ones, I had actually after 4yrs given up. It's fresh and the prices are reasonable also they use water chestnuts in their lo-mein which a lot of places down here don't and I love those!

This is my first comment about a restaurant, most of the time I am like many of you reading this that just go on and do not comment about a bad experience. With that said, I am highly disappointed with this place. The food was good as far as the many Chinese food places that are around here and usually my family and I order the family pack dinner of 3 entrée and an appetizer. We also use the coupon for free edamame without any problems. However this time they informed me that I could not use it because I ordered the family pack. The coupon says not valid with other offers, the family pack however is a menu item. So I suppose that they get to pick and choose what items on the menu are acceptable to fulfill the 25.00 sale requirement. My order was 40.00+ that I placed on the phone to be picked up. When I got there about 15mins after I hung up the girl that took my order did not place it. There was no apologies not even a drink offered for me having to now sit here another 25mins for them to cook my order. I have been a restaurant manager for major corporations for 7+years, and in the hospitality industry for over 15. I will not be returning and I urge anyone that reads this to do the same. Lotus kitchen in wilton manors will get my full business from now on.

Good food, good prices. Maybe not the best restaurant but thats why we only order take out from here.
(5)John F.
Good prices, good service, but nothing spectacular. Pork in their special was super tough, and I threw most of it away. Sauce was super tasty. Rice was average. Christina WANs kills this, but at double the price.
(3)Kristin R.
Its so hard to find a good Chinese restaurant which is why I searched Yelp before placing an order at just any random Chinese restaurant. This place looked safe enough so I called in an order for General Tso chicken to go. Placing the order was easy enough via phone. Upon arrival, the small restaurant looked clean and cozy. Good enough to actually eat inside if need be. My food was ready and was reasonably priced. Young gal at the front counter texting on her cell phone but what can you expect in this day and age. She was nice enough. Food tasted pretty good, 8 out of 10 (10 being the best). I will be going back to this place. No complaints. For the price I paid and the decent sized portion I received, it's right on.

After finding great reviews on another site, I called in an order for pick up. The young lady spoke very clearly and repeated my order back precisely. I was told it would all be ready in 15 minutes and it was. We started with the biggest, most tender Barbecue Spareribs(6) we've ever had from an Asian restaurant along with Szechwan Dumplings (8), perfect Sweet and Sour soup and excellent Wonton soup. Then we enjoyed Moo Shu Pork (6 pancakes, perfectly portioned) and Shrimp w. Chili Tomato Sauce. Overall this was an A plus meal, It was piping hot, spiced very well and portioned generously but not overdone. The person who answered the phone also put the order together, greeted me with a big smile and was very pleasant. We look forward to recommending Crazy Wok to our friends in Fort Lauderdale. The dining room was dimly lit and looked nice for a simple family dinner or to start a romantic evening

New in the area, thought we'd try out Chinese delivery. Expectations not high but had decent reviews, so here's what we got. Ordered garlic chicken, Over an hour went by before I got my barely warm breaded plain chicken with no sauce!!!! I was shocked it was breaded, I was shocked sauce was supposed to be on the side, and I was shocked when after calling in ,it took 45 more minutes to get cold garlic sauce. When I called back, she explained its supposed to be cold. Very strange to serve a warm chicken dish plain with cold sauce on the side. It was gross and the crab rangoons were nothing but onions and cream cheese. Terrible experience, terrible food. Never again.

I have never had a problem with this restaurant until Sunday. I ordered delivery from them and they gave me the wrong food. When I called to rectify the order they informed me that they would bring me the correct order and when I asked if they wanted the original order back they said no, I could keep both. What they didn't inform me was the fact that they were going to charge my credit card for the order that they had messed up. When I called to see about getting a refund they were incredibly rude and stated that they never told me to keep the other order. This is BAD business any way you slice it and I will NO longer be ordering from Crazy Wok which is upsetting because I actually liked their food.
(1)Guy M.
This restaurant has the best egg rolls in the world!!!!! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious (all of it) and the inside is very clean and welcoming. The restaurant is also very well located near a bunch of cool places. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience here.
(5)Andrew J.
One of the better takeout options in Ft Lauderdale. We were especially pleased with the boneless spare ribs, which are served as full-size hunks of meat, unlike the small strips traditionally served at Chinese restaurants.
(4)Ignacio C.
I just love Chinese food. Always stop by here for pick up whenever I'm in the area. Very good lo-mein.
(4)yahaira s.
Is very good rice and the crispy shrimp were great. However the miso soup was terrible and the amount of food is lower than average
(3)Daniel K.
I have found this to be the best take out locally, they "claim" that they do not use MSG, and so far I have not had a headache...so....
(4)D D.
I just ate there and thought the food was very Meh. I got general Tso's chicken, rice, egg roll and wonton soup. The wontons in the soup were entirely pasta. There was no meat inside the wonton. I took a photo. The General Tso's chicken wasn't good at all. It came with a super sweet red sauce that to me tasted kind of like tomatoes and cherries. I didnt like it. The rice tasted stale the the egg roll was meh. Disappointed
(2)Vanessa S.
ordered here for the first time today. service was excellent and the entire family's meal was delicious. will definitely order from the crazy wok again!
(5)Alexis O.
Crazy wok is a pretty good option when ordering in. It isn't your typically greasy Chinese food, but some might prefer that. Their delivery is usually between 45 minutes to an hour, which is typically what one would expect from a delivery restaurant. I've had many things on the menu from Mongolian Beef to pepper steak to chicken pan fried noodles and all were pretty good. The only complaint I have is that they are a little pricey with delivery at around $30 for two people. I also think that some of their options are somewhat bland in flavor; however, when craving Chinese this is a good option.
(3)Great S.
Good and fast takeout, place an order, wait in line at the dollar store for krazy glue, by the time your done, it's done.
